Linda Torv, M.P.H.

Program Manager of Research

Linda Torv is the Program Manager for Research at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Public Health from Southern Connecticut State University. Prior to joining the YCEI in February of 2019, she managed a U.S. Department of Agriculture, National Institute of Food and Agriculture, Agriculture and Food Research Initiative, Childhood Obesity Prevention project through the University of Connecticut, Department of Extension. Prior to her work at UConn, Linda was a class manager for Cooking Matters, a program that works to ensure children and parents with lower incomes learn to shop, prepare, and eat healthy foods on a limited budget, through the Community Health Network of Connecticut Foundation. In her free time, Linda enjoys spending quality time with her husband and dog.
