As social and emotional learning (SEL) becomes more central to the education process for schools, districts have been adopting systemic strategies to embed SEL district-wide. Our training for district leaders is an interactive, three-day workshop where district leaders can begin the work to support a thoughtful and systemic SEL rollout.  Superintendents, directors, and other district-level administrator attendees can expect to: 

• Understand the science of emotions

• Learn the skills of emotional intelligence 

• Become familiar with RULER as a systemic, school-wide approach to SEL 

• Incorporate personal and collective reflections for generative thinking about leadership and SEL implementation 

• Plan for SEL/RULER Implementation

The majority of districts that attend the Seedlings for Educational Leaders workshop continue on to implement RULER in their schools by sending school teams to attend the RULER Institute.
