Anushay Mazhar is a graduate student at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. She is a Master's student on the joint UCL-Yale Master's program in Developmental Neuroscience and Psychopathology. Anushay completed her undergrad in BSc Psychology from UCL and spent an additional year there for the first year of her Master's. During this time, she also worked as a research assistant on a cross-cultural autism project that investigates socio-emotional cognitions in children, under the supervision of Dr. Sarah White.

She balances her research with her position as the founder of a non-profit, Resources For Neurodiversity, which aims to create awareness about neurodevelopmental conditions in Pakistan, conduct research on the Pakistani population and provide support to those who may not be able to afford it. Anushay is also passionate about photography, which she has previously used to highlight important issues that are commonly found in the society.
