Alicia Linder is a coach and trainer for the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. She is also currently a 3rd grade teacher and RULER Lead at Thurgood Marshall Academy Lower School in NYC. Alicia has over seven years of experience working in NYC public schools. She spent four of those years working towards her passion in social emotional learning by modeling and implementing RULER-led lessons in her school. Alicia holds a Bachelor of Science in Child Education and is currently completing her Master of Science in Special Education. Alicia’s next future goal is to eventually pursue a doctoral degree in Social Emotional Learning so as to have a greater impact in the field of education. Her work in SEL has impacted her positively as an educator, mother, and individual.
